The French Army 1914 -1960

Croix de Guerre is the sister group to the Croix de Lorraine. The CdG are involved with the portrayal of the French Army from 1914-1960 and we are slowly begining to cover the full period. At the present time we are seen mainly at shows covering 1935-40, though this year will see the first full season covering WW1. We are also into Fortress Study and have key group members who are also members of AALMA. Both Groups are part of the C20 warfare society, and we are also full members of FESAC.

The CDG also has a section covering the BEF as they were actively manning
sections of the Maginot Line.

Key members of the CdG are also members of the AALMA (Association des Amis de la Ligne Maginot en Alsace)

CdG are regulars at the monthly Chatham Militaria Fair (see links page for details)
